Yerevan. (Interfax) – Armenian Security Council secretary and Defense Minister Serzhik Sarkisian discussed bilateral relations with US ambassador to Yerevan John Evans, the Defense Ministry press service told Interfax on Tuesday.
In the context of the settlement in Nagorno Karabakh Evans welcomed the determination of the Karabakh and Armenian sides to settle the matter solely through peace talks. The sides also mulled matters related to the exchange of POWs in the conflict zone.
They voiced confidence that Armenian-American cooperation will continue to deepen and strengthening this year.
