YEREVAN, DECEMBER 9. ARMINFO. 36 servicemen died or were killed in the Armenian army this year, says Armenia’s DM Serzh Sargsyan.
The figure has dropped but each such case is still a big tragedy for both the families and the army. Such facts are undermining the image of the army. Sargsyan says that the figure is steadily falling and he is sure that this tendency will continue in future too. “I don’t mean we are glad at the figure. We are working and will continue to work in this direction,” says Sargsyan that despite these facts there are still very many young people who wish and consider it their duty to serve in the army.
