YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 10, ARMENPRESS: Armenian wineries produced in the first nine months of the year some 8.2 million liters of vodka, 1.5 million liters of grape wine, 255,000 liters of champagne, 7.2 million liters of beer and 5.3 million liters of brandy.
Armenian customs service said some 358,000 liters of beer were brought to Armenia in the first ten months of the year against 267,000 liters of the same time span of last year. The volume of imported wine in the ten months was 29,433 liters against last year’s 14,000 liters, some 1,234 liters of brandy spirit against 600 liters of last year and 582,000 tons of vodka spirit against 305,000 last year.
Armenian breweries also exported in the first ten months 1.5 million liters of beer against 1.1 million liters of last year, 19,000 liters of vodka spirit that was 20,000 liters less than in the first ten months of 2003.
