On the night of October 16 explosions set of at five Christian churches in Baghdad. No one suffered as a result and the buildings are slightly damaged. As reported by St. Echmiadzin Press Service, Armenian churches were not touched thereupon. It should be reminded that 7 became victims of expolisions of Christian churches in the Iraqi capital and Mosul and an Armenian church was damaged in the summer. It should be noted that there are several Armenian churches only in Baghdad and the Armenian community of the country numbers about 20 thousand.
