ONE OF CENTRAL STREETS OF MEDONE (FRANCE) RENAMED TO STREET AFTER ARMENIAN COMMANDER ZORAVAR ANDRANIK

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 11. ARMINFO. One of the central streets of town of Medone (France) has been renamed to the street after Armenian commander Zoravar Andranik.

ARMINFO was informed in the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Armenia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to France Edward Nalbandian opened with his speech the ceremony dedicated to this event. He mentioned that the rename of the street of Medone in honor of Zoravar Andranik increases the number of dozens of streets and squares of French populated areas, called in honor of “the sons of Armenian people”, which testifies about the presence of strong friendly Armenian-French relations. Statesmen of France, high-ranking officials, representatives of the Armenian diaspora of France took part in the ceremony.
