YEREVAN, OCTOBER 2. ARMINFO. Last night an armed attack on the house of an Armenian MP Hakov Hakobyan was registered.
Talking to journalists today, Hakobyan said that the incident took place from 1:00 to 2:00 am. on October 2. An unknown group of armed persons broke into the territory of Hakobyan’s house and fired at it. In response, the MP applied his personal weapon, firing at the attackers. Then, the unknown escaped. Hakobyan tried to follow them, but failed. Then, Hakobyan went to his Hotel “Zvartnots” where he found out that the attackers broke into the complex, threatened the personnel demanding the address of Hakobyan. It should be noted that recently Hakob Hakobyan and Vice Chairman of Orinats Yerkir party Mher Shahgeldyan had a quarrel in public.
