YEREVAN, OCTOBER 1, ARMENPRESS: The government of Japan will award a 44 million Yens grant to Armenian sport and culture center to help it upgrade its audio equipment. The agreement to that end was signed today at Armenian culture ministry.
The Japanese government has already awarded grants to Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra to purchase new musical instruments, to Opera and Ballet Theater to obtain modern audio devices and to Matenadaran depository of old manuscripts to buy equipment for preservation of manuscripts.
