ARMINFO, Yerevan, 9 Sept 2004 — Presentation of a new cultural portal containing information on Armenia’s culture took place in Yerevan on September 8.
The portal’s creators. the members of the Association of Movie Critics and Journalists of Armenia, stated at a press-conference on Sept 8 that portal contains an e-magazine on culture, a discussion web-page operating in the real regime, a news web-page refreshed every day. The portal’s web-pages also contain information on bills related to the culture, as well as articles about the country’s cultural policy. To create the portal, www.arvest.am, Soros Fund allocated $6,000.
