Arminfo reports that the president of National Academy of Sciences
of Armenia Fadey Sargsian today met with teachers of Armenian schools
of diaspora.
During the meeting the participants have mentioned that the
Armenia-based scientific-educational center “Spyurk” organizes
training courses of teachers of diaspora. Under this program already 180 teachers from different countries of the world have passed these courses. This year 51
teachers from Russia, Canada, France, Syria and Iraq attended the
courses. The president of National Academy of Sciences has highly
assessed the aspiration of the diaspora to inculc ate patriotism in
their children. Fadey Sargsian thinks that similar arrangements are of
strategical and all-Armenian importance, and it is necessary to solve
the problems of the diaspora jointly.
According to Director of “Spyurk” Suren Danielian, the Government,
All-Armenia Hayastan fund, as well as individual representatives of
Armenian dia spora have provided assistance in holding training
courses of teachers.
