The next meeting of the Armenian and Azeri FMs will be held in Prague June 20, Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian stated today noting that during the Strasbourg meeting with his Azeri colleague held May 12-14 he could observe Baku’s wish to continue the dialogue and find common ground for the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. However, the Strasbourg meeting cannot be viewed as negotiations since it was held without any fixed agenda and bore a consultative nature. When commenting on Baku’s calls regarding the “returning of seized territories”, Vardan Oskanian noted that the determination of Karabakh’s political status is the issue of primary importance in the Karabakh conflict. All other issues proceed from the dependence of this problem, RA FM said.
