YEREVAN, APRIL 7. ARMINFO. A production of TV sets and mini-tractors has been launched in Armenia.
The head of the industry department of Armenia’s trade and economic development ministry Meruzhan Hakopyan says that 70 TV sets and 10 mini-tractors were produced in Feb. Their assemblage has been carried out by the Vanadzor plant “Electron” from Chinese units since last autumn. The Chinese partner is ChinVan company. Hakopyan says that the plant’s administration has asked the Armenian Government to stop importing ready mini-tractors under credit and grant projects and to start assembling it in Armenia.
