The Russian military should leave the South Caucasian region, Azeri President Ilham Aliyev stated in the course of his visit to Turkey, Echo Baku newspaper reported. “While Georgia wants Russian soldiers to leave its territory, Armenia, on the contrary, increases their number. This is dangerous for the region,” he said. At the same time the Azeri leader noted, in his country “there is no military presence of Russia or other countries, and there will not be, as we are an independent state.”
