YEREVAN, APRIL 3, ARMINFO. On April 6, a group of Azerbaijani journalists representing the leading Mass Media of the country, will leave for the Turkish-Armenian border to hold an action of protest “Turk Turke Destek” (“Turk supports Turk”). According to the Baku-based newspaper “Zerkalo,” the initiator of the action is AND TV and Radio company.
According to the source, the action will start in the North-Eastern towns of Turkey, Igdir and Kars and will be completed in Ankara. Mass Media representatives intend to make explanations to the public about the consequences of the opening of the Turkish-Armenian border. They will call the Turkish leadership to object the pressure by several countries in this issue. The Azerbaijani journalists and local residents will form a symbolic “live wall” between the Armenian and Turkish territories.
