YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 27. ARMINFO. Mayor of Moscow Yuri Luzhkov offered Armenian businessmen to build a wholesale trade center in Russia’s capital. RIA Novosti reports, he has stated during the business-forum “Moscow-Yerevan”.
According to Yuri Luzhkov, the turnover of similar centers “amazes our partners”. As an example the mayor of Moscow called the experience of the activities of the company “Metro Cash and Carry”, which building such a center in Moscow, then planned the construction of 8 more ones. “We propose Armenia to build a center, which will belong to Armenia”, Luzhkov said. According to the mayor, about 40% of the whole wholesale market of RUssian federation is in Moscow. Luzhkov also expressed readiness to support the development of retail trade assisted by Armenian businessmen. According to his data, there are about 500 joint Armenian-Russian firms in Moscow.
