The Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh will not be discussed at January and April sessions of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), MP Samad Seyidov, head of the Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation to PACE, told journalists.
Seyidov explained delay with nomination of Terry Davis, PACE rapporteur on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, to the post of Secretary General. “He will run for the elections,” MP stressed.
Nevertheless, Seyidov said the issue remained on PACE agenda and would be considered this year. The Azerbaijani parliamentary representatives are going to put forward the issue on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in different committees of CE.
