“Activation of Russia, an OSCE Minsk Group co-chair, the resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh will probably lead to positive ends,” Vilayat Guliyev, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, told journalists.
Guliyev said As compared with other countries, Russia possesses more opportunities and resources for resolution of the problem. The region is closely linked with Russia and that in particular concerns Armenian one of the conflicting sides,” said Guliyev, noting that Russia’s active part in the resolution of the conflict would yield positive results.
The minister underlined that Russian, the world influential country, who is the political heir of former USSR, where the conflict started, and Azerbaijan wants to take advantage of this fact.
