panarmenian: ARMENIA TO RECEIVE RECURRENT TRANSH OF IMF CREDIT AMOUNTING IN $14 MILLION

Within the framework of the credit project on Poverty Reduction and Growth Facility (PRGF), Armenia can receive the recurrent IMF credit’s 5-th transh amounting in about $14 million, IMF permanent representative in Armenia James McHugh told journalists. In his words, the issue will be officially settled late November at the sitting of the Council of Directors of the IMF. J. McHugh added that the Armenian government fulfilled one of the key requirements of the PRGF and improved the level of tax collection in the current year that should lead to the growth of the budget expenses for the social sphere.
