YEREVAN, OCTOBER 28. ARMINFO. A ceremonial meeting dedicated to the great Armenian composer Aram Khachatryan’s centennial was held at the Cultural Center of the Department for Service of the Diplomatic Corps of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The press-service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry told ARMINFO that a documentary film about the composer’s activity was shown. Then famous Russian art men delivered speeches. An exhibition entitled “Life and Activity of Aram Khachatryan” opened at the Center’s foyer. Besides, another event was organized in Moscow dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the national artist of Armenia, professor of Moscow COnservatory, pianist Yuri Hairapetyan.
