YEREVAN, OCTOBER 16, ARMENPRESS: On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Armenian prominent composer Aram Khachatrian, a virtual museum financed by open Society Institute (SOROS) and elaborated by “Web-Studio” company was launched yesterday. The virtual museum presents the detailed biography of the great composer, family tree, the timeline, information about Khachatrian-conductor and Khachatrian-teacher, the complete list of works, extracts from letters, information about the museum of Khachatrian.
The initiator of creation of a virtual museum of Khachatrian and the leader of the program, musicologist, Rasmila Alaverdova presented the virtual museum, which may be found at www.khachaturian.am, expressing hope that the responses, suggestions and also critic will soon follow.
