ANKARA, SEPTEMBER 15. ARMINFO. Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul has refuted the recent statement by Armenia’s Defence Minister that the Turkish-Armenian border will be opened soon.
The Ekho newspaper reports that during his recent press-conference in Baku Gul said that the Karabakh conflict was discussed by the OSCE FMs in Madrid and will also be considered by them at the next session of the UN General Assembly in New York. “We would like to promote the settlement of the conflict as peace and stability in the region will lead to prosperity and welfare.”
