YEREVAN, AUGUST 25, ARMENPRESS: Armenian foreign affairs minister Vartan Oskanian, who is also the chairman of a steering committee for organization and holding Pan-Armenian Athletic Games, said Sunday he was fully satisfied with its results. “The outcome of the Third Games has showed that they are becoming more and more attractive to Armenians in Diaspora and the still existing minor shortcomings do not create problems, ” he said, adding that Games is also the success of all Armenians around the world.
Lerna Azarian, a basketball player from Pasadena (USA), was declared Miss Games. Talking to Armenpress correspondent she said the title came as a big surprise. She received the prize from president Kocharian.
