YEREVAN, Armenia — Three unarmed Armenian soldiers, including a
pair of brothers, were killed as they slept at a military warehouse,
an official at the military prosecutor’s office said Wednesday.
The three appeared to have been shot by a single assailant wielding
an assault rifle, the official said on condition of anonymity.
The motive for the killings in the town of Vanadzor was not immediately
known. No items were taken from the warehouse, the official said.
