A monument to great Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian will be erected in Moscow within the framework of measures devoted to the 100-th anniversary of Aram Khachaturian. As reported by the city administration of Yerevan, a contest is announced for the best project of the monument. Moscow mayor Yuri Luzhkov offered assistance in allotting territory for the monument and building the pedestal.
