The 6 million euro expected to be released by the government of Greece will be supplemented by money from Greece’s Commercial Bank. The project is composed of three main components, encompassing health, education, culture and business areas. The first component will target the health needs of people in remote areas, the second foresees establishment of Greek culture and language center and the last component pertains to financial assistance to about 60 small and medium-sized enterprises. The share of Armenia will most likely make about 1.5 million euro. The deputy minister also reminded that his government has pledged $100,000 aid to Armenian government to help ease the aftereffects of a severely cold winter that damaged heavily the country’s vineyards and orchards.
