MARCH 27. A concert on the occasion of the 100th birthday anniversary of the great Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian has been held at the Academic Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus. The concert was organized with the assistance of the Armenian embassy in Belarus.
In his speech before the concert, Armenian Ambassador to Armenia Suren Harutiunian spoke of Aram Khachaturian’s role in the history of world’s music.
Aram Khachaturian’s compositions were performed by the Symphonic Orchestra of the Academic Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus and the violinist,winner of numerous international prizes Sergey Khachatrian. Attending the concert were members of the Byelorussian Government, representatives of the Armenian diaspora.
