Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian and deputy foreign minister of Italy Margerita Boniveri signed an “Agreement on air communication” in Yerevan today. The document was signed within the framework of the meeting of the high-rank representatives of the two countries. The opportunities for expanding economic and cultural cooperation, as well as the formation of the necessary contract and legal framework were discussed at the meeting. The parties also concerned issues of cooperation between the two countries within international organizations and the Karabakh settlement. Let us remind that the Italian deputy foreign minister’s visit to Armenia pursues the goal of getting acquainted with regional problems on the eve of Italy’s presidency in the European Union.
