YEREVAN, JANUARY 9, ARMENPRESS: Rector of Yerevan State Conservatory Sergey Sarajev, the chairman of a state commission, which is steering an extensive range of festivities and events, dedicated to the 100-th anniversary of the outstanding Armenian composer Aram Khachatrian, to be marked this year, said today special booklets dedicated to the jubilee have been prepared, which will be disseminated with the help of Armenian embassies abroad.
Information about the festivities will be disseminated also via Internet.
The Armenian ministry of transport and communication will issue a series of post stamps and cards and the Central bank will issue gold and silver jubilee coins, dedicated to the anniversary.
Armenian Hayk film studio will release a 50-minute long film about Khachaturian. A special festival is also supposed to be held in Yerevan.
