PARIS – Armenian Patriarch Mesrob II in Turkey will carry out lobby activities in French capital Paris for Turkey’s being given a date for opening of accession talks with the European Union (EU) at Copenhagen Summit in December of 2002.
Mesrob is scheduled to come together with French Ministry of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Renaud Muselier on November 27. During the meeting, Mesrob will ask French officials to support Turkey in its EU full membership process.
He will also meet with members of the Parliamentary Foreign Relations Commission, deputies and senators.
