azg: RACIST PROFESSOR EXPELLED FROM COLLEGE

November 6 a history lecturer of Glendale’s community college insulted and threatened an Armenian student during his class, infringing upon the nationality of the latter.

The act was described by college authorities and students as a manifestation of racism, and the professor, Paul Williams, was expelled from the Glendale’s community college by the decision of college principality.

The history professor Paul Williams was tutoring in the college for only a week, and had started to work there on substitution basis.

By the request of Armenian foreign ministry the Armenian consulate in California had inquired to provide the above-given information, also informing that November 18 hearings will be held in the same college where the possible roots of similar anti-Armenian and any other racist manifestations in Glendale will be discussed. The discussion will be held by the initiative of Armenian community of Glendale and the college’s staff.
