A special conference is scheduled for 12-14 November in Yerevan that will address the planning of NATO- supported multi-national military exercises to be held next year in Armenia.
The exercises, Cooperative Best Effort-2003, will be held within NATO’s Partnership for Peace Program. The conference in Armenia aims to develop co-ordination between the light infantry in peace operations and promote mutual understanding between the NATO partner states.
Armenian defense ministry said some 65 representatives from 16 countries and senior members from the NATO command will be attending the conference.
