ArmInfo: Turkish, Armenian Foreign Ministers Set For 25 June Istanbul Meeting

It is proposed to find a final solution to long-lasting territorial disputes
at the forthcoming meeting between the Armenian and Turkish foreign ministers
in Istanbul on 25 June, Turkish Foreign Minister Ismail Cem said yesterday.

He said that in addition to meeting the Armenian foreign minister, he was
planning to meet Azerbaijani President Heydar Aliyev, “if the head of
Azerbaijan considers this meeting appropriate and finds time for it,” the
Turkish foreign minister added. Ismail Cem noted that Turkey considered
itself a party assisting the process of settling the Nagornyy Karabakh
conflict.

To recap, Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan and his Turkish
counterpart, Ismail Cem, intend to meet in Istanbul on the sidelines of the
Black Sea Economic Cooperation organization summit.
