On May 13, German-Armenian Society presents a lecture by PD Dr. theol. habil. Haçik R. Gazerian. “Anatomy of A Destruction – The Armenian Church Under Stalin”
The lecture is about the history of the Armenian Church in
Soviet Armenia during the years 1920 to 1938 based upon records. The religious policy of Soviet Armenia, its laws concerning religion and the repression and persecution of the Armenian Church including the activities of the “Union of Militant Atheists” form the cornerstones of the lecture.
Lecture will be held at 7:30pm in Hessische Landesvertretung In den Ministergaerten 5 (10117 Berlin, Germany). Entrance is free.
