YEREVAN (Armenpress)—Another Armenian athlete, skier Margaret Nikolyan, qualified for a seat on the Armenian team in the Winter Olympic Games of 2002.
Six athletes will represent Armenia in Salt Lake City, two more than its neighbors Georgia and Azerbaijan.
The Armenian Young Skiers Team will leave for Germany on Saturday, where they will compete in the World Championship.
The Elder Skiers Team will soon take part in the international competitions in France.
Armenia’s leading skiers Arsen Harutyunian and Vanessa Rakejian, are training in Italy and France and will go to France on Thursday.
